Highly recommend Beverly Garland Hotel LA

Unfortunately, I have not yet stopped there, but I booked it after plenty of recommendations on this forum. Looks lovely (top 15 hotels in LA in Conde Naste for about 7 years running) but alas I have had to cancel due to my Coast 2 Coast USA trip being off due to Corona.

I have to say they are a quality outfit. Weeks ago I emailed to enquire about refunds if I could not make it when I was not sure, and Shawn their night manager emailed me back to reassure me I could get a refund.

When the time came yesterday and I, unfortunately, had to cancel, I emailed Shawn again, who emailed me back this morning saying my card had expired. After giving him the new card expiry date, Shawn emailed me almost straight back, giving me a refund of my ' non-refundable' room rate.

I will definitely be booking them again when my trip is rescheduled, which unfortunately will not be until summer 2022 now. You can rest assured this is a very good hotel to deal with for your LA trips.

I only wish the Hilton Hotel chain who have plenty of my business including corporate bookings was as accommodating as the fantastic Beverly Garland. Hilton have refused to refund me for my Vegas room as the date of my trip is outside their current cancellation date, even though I explained I am coming from the UK and my flight was cancelled, but they ignored me. They are now losing all my business for good. I am now waiting to see if they extend their cancellation policy. Hilton also take days to get back and respond to any enquiry, again in stark contrast to Beverly Garland.
