Tracey,

Have you tried Delta for flights? Its not a direct flight, but we used them in January, and everyone tells me what a brilliant price we got. Booked in March for the Jan, under£1000 for 2 adults and 2 DD.

Tracey,

We did Nov 26-Dec 9 in 2000.  Weather was pretty good , sometimes cool in the morning but pleasant in the afternoons, once or twice it touched 80 degrees... suggest a couple of warm tops for evenings tho'.

What do you mean by "Christmas goodies..?"  If you mean lights , decorations etc. then the answer's Yes!  All the parks  put the Christmas decorations up as soon as Thanksgiving is over ( last Thursday in November)... and it looks really festive.

we arrived 8th dec 2001 to 82 degrees - lovely.
I think it's supposed to be low 70's during Dec with hardly any rain - we didn't see a drop - hardly any queues for the rides, most of them we just walked straight on (but Sept 11 did have an effect on numbers).

I would definately go Nov/Dec again - the Xmas festivities and atmosphere were fantastic, weather just right for us and no crowds - perfect

Delta non direct flights are very good, we used them in Feb and were pleasantly surprised. I actually preferred a break in the journey (DVT and so on) .

Tracey,

We had our 2 dd's with us,and it really wasn't a problem.

Nice to get off the plane and have a bit of a break.

Flying back our first flight was approx 3.30pm, then I think  about 6.30pm, so DD's slept a lot of the night time flight.

HTH

It's a fantastic time to go.  We went last November/December and it was brilliant.  No queues, fab weather, low crowds and really Christmassy!   We booked our flights in September and paid £260 adults, £160 kids inc tax!  This was flying with Continental on a Virgin flight.
