Virgin Atlantic car hire - Alamo UPDATE page 2
Hi
I have booked a car through VA with Alamo for car hire at Las Vegas. When booking it it appeared to be at the airport but when the confirmation came through it stated needed a shuttle. Any one know if I can cancel booking, can’t see anything on either website or confirmation? Thanks I know it’s not Florida but thought Tom might know? Thanks

You can cancel for free. I have done it a few times.
I will post the link to the page it’s on tomorrow as I have it bookmarked on my PC. Edit. Bit naughty of Virgin as I’ve just checked and it says the location is the airport.

Cheers Tom thought you’d know. At time of booking I could get considerably cheaper with another agent but that was also using shuttle which I didn’t want. If I have to use shuttle might as well get it cheaper. LV is so much dearer than Florida.

All las Vegas rental companies require a shuttle ride. It's very close to airport

First visit 1989, last visit March 19. Next holiday Washington, Key West & Orlando May 20. Planning Hawaii for March 21

Hi Op, have you considered if you need a Car in Vegas? It's a while since I last went, but I believe Parking is now chargeable at every hotel, even self-parking.
Would it be cheaper to hire a car from a Hotel pick-up location for the days you might be heading out of town?
