West coast tickets and excursions

If you are going via Palm Springs , you have to do the Ariel Tramway.
In fact I would go that way just to do it
Eg do San Diego - Palm Springs - Grand Canyon - Vegas then onwards
I also really enjoyed the old town trolley tour in San Diego

Oh yes the old town trolley tour, I forgot about that one. I had a day trip to San Diego on my own and bought my ticket on the day (I think I could have saved a few dollars by pre booking online).
It’s a fantastic way of seeing the city, the guides are very knowledgeable and most of them with a great sense of humour.
I got off on Coronado Island to visit the famous Hotel Del Coronado and also in the Old Town. If I had more time I would have loved to of explored Balboa Park

Yes that is the route we will be doing so I will add the Ariel tramway and trolley tour to my list to have a look at, thank you😀

Agree certainly Alcatraz when the tickets first come available. We did the night tour... highly recommend. We also pre-booked whale watching from Monterey and of course the Disney tickets.

Also pre-booked the HoHo bus at Sam Fran.

Think that was everything!

Although pricey - I'd recommend Dylans tours in SF, its a great day out and they take you to some great sites, they even drop you off by the Alcatraz ferry which you can do on the same day.
