I am like you I really can search out information on people and businesses. I would not give a large amount of money to a company without reading their accounts etc.

It is very easy to find out information on people these days

I would suggest that everyone is vunerable both to scamming and heart ache and it is the way we manage situations that make us less so.

The OP is a capable, intelligent adult who has life experience,. I know she knows a lot more about this gentleman than she has reveled here, she is good at researching the information she needs.

As for getting her heart broken, I admire her for getting on with life, so many people are too scared of living because of the media. If she does get her heart broken she will have had months of pleasure and that's better than sitting in four walls 'protecting herself'.
