Fun things to do over Christmas

What are you doing? I have booked the Selfridges market for the 20th so we can have a mooch about and see the london lights. My kids are going to winter wonderland with friends, what are you doing? I need ideas for things to do, I wanted to do a park light walk with the dog but Windsor is really expensive. It’s about £130 for four of us for two hours walking a round the park which seems excessive. Any ideas? 😬

We live in a close of avout 22 houses. Last year we arrange for everyone to turn on their Christmas lights after a count down (having switched them off first if they needed to). This was then followed by socially distanced carols mulled wine and mince pies.

We are planning to repeat it this year (even though it seems no one else in th3 close is capable of organising it)

We have one of the most decorated streets around here that nearly every house lights up and raises money for charity. Lansdowne Road in Branston.

We done Blenheim palace a few years ago, all the lights and trees were gorgeous. We also had the afternoon tea but again I think it was quite expensive 😊

We want to Chatsworth house a few years ago for their Christmas theme tree display and it incorporated a Christmas market, two for the price of one. Now it’s a set price for house and tree display and parking too, it’s got a silly price as we don’t want to go around the house.

I want to do a light walk with the dog, I have found one in Aylesbury that we might do. I’d love to go to Kew but no doggies
