Disembarkation time

Hi there, me again! 😄

Booking the Disney magic Med cruise that gets back to Barcelona at 7am. There is a flight back to Edinburgh that same day at 11.35am, do you think this is enough time? The airport is a 20 minute drive from the cruise port!

I’ve never done a cruise before so I don’t know the procedure involved in getting off the ship!

Thanks in advance!

Disney recommend the earliest departure is 11:30am from Barcelona. disneycruise.disney.go/g...ransportation/

Personally I'm not sure if I would risk it being this tight. I'd rather have breakfast and then have a leisurely exit. That said it is doable but its probably easier if you walk your luggage off and skip breakfast. Its weather you would want to risk any delays or not I guess.

I’ve always been off a cruise ship very early. They seem to like you off by about 8am so I think you should be fine.

I think you'll be fine but I'd double check my insurance covers missed departure if the ship is late into port (highly unlikely it would be late though).

Although this is very possible, with Disney if you are on late dining your breakfast is likely to be 8:30am on the last morning so you may need to skip breakfast to be off that early.

We have flown back on the 10:30 flight a few times. We do a quick breakfast in Cabanas, express walk off and we're at the airport by 8:30.

Forget about leaving your luggage outside of your door and forget about having a nice leisurely breakfast, but otherwise, it's all good.

We've yet to make last-morning breakfast on our cruises.

It's just too early, we're all tired and/or hungover and struggling to just get out of bed, have a shower and get our ≈≈≈≈ together to get off the ship!

Ha ha yeah I can definitely appreciate that one. It is always at the crack of dawn. As a morning person I enjoy getting that last breakfast in but really get why people skip it.
