Is there any benefits to cash over card when paying for fuel/meals?
We had our card skimmed at a Racetrac gas station a few years ago, always use cash now.

We were there over Christmas this year and noticed most of the gas stations charge more if you buy fuel on card than cash, the price boards outside were rotating between Cash & Card prices.

I just go back in and ask for the change for pump x. I tend to overpay, especially when filling up to go back to the airport and haven't had a problem getting the difference back.

We've always used cards. Revolut and Monzo. Used contactless to at some places. First did it in steak and shake and they thought we were wizards. Totally blown away that we can just tap it haha
