Thanks for reading. Yeah, we usually go full on into it but today the humidity just knocked us for six. That, and the big breakfast!

Great going with the FastPasses at MK.
I would have gladly booked Coventry if it meant we could have just bought some damned tickets!

Yes. And then got off the ride and said he didn’t like it. Standard. Tsk!

Yikes, Epcot was a disaster. You did well to get on the rides you did. I’m planning a Garden Grill brekkie, can’t wait for that cinnamon bun.

Lovely evening in MK, fast pass roulette sounds great fun. Starbucks though...oof...maybe I’ll take lessons from that annoying woman and just run in and nick unclaimed coffees rather than queue!

Hope life calms down for you soon (so you can come back and entertain us )
Haha, I don’t think my heart rate has recovered from it yet myself. Such a frustrating experience.

I love the fact that people take away different tips and ideas from reading trip reports and what you seem to have gleaned from this one is that it’s possible to nick coffees from Starbucks! Laughing a lot here.

Next instalment coming soon...

Loving reading along - great report.
Yes to the lime opal fruits! Sadly there is no lime emoji. Discrimination!

You bought a pearl ring? Bravo. Not once in any trip report have I read of someone visiting those little shops/stands!

The cinnamon bun skillet at the Garden Grill looks incredible. I’d never thought about eating at GG as I’m vegetarian but I could easily eat a whole skillet of gooey icing by myself...
I also felt horrible when I saw the fish in Living with the Land. The fish over in The Seas Pavillion have plenty of room, why can’t they share?
You caught on to what a hand platter was? Well done. Fancy coming to be our interpreter? This kind of thing happens a lot in our house.

Andy didn’t eat the sausage or bacon at GG and still had a great feed on the fruit, bun, eggs & potatoes. So I think you’d be absolutely fine. I bet they do a veggie option anyway.

I know. The sad little fish. Glad the tanks are more or less empty now. Although I do miss the mini crocodiles.

Ok so reading this has confirmed that we will definitely will be booking Garden Grill for breakfast… that cinnamon sticky bun looked absolutely divine (you know how much I love a bit of sugar at breakfast!). Those tater tots looked amazing too. I was literally drooling all over my keyboard reading this. Disappointing to get snubbed by Mickey though, clearly holding a grudge after the assault last year…

So nice to get some chilled out hotel time, such a change of pace for you guys! Such a perk of being at Beach Club and being a mere hop, skip and a jump away from your room… this is what totally sells this resort to me! I’m hoping that later in the trip you actually venture from the bar and take a dip in the pool!

So forever more I will be calling the small dishes served at Epcot’s festivals ‘hand platters’. Andy you are a legend. This literally had me in stitches. You guys need your own reality show, move over Jack and Dani… there is a new power couple in town!

I absolutely loved reading this (obvs) and if possible it’s making me even more excited for our trip later in the year. Now I am just hoping that work calms down a bit so you can crack on with the next installment! #chopchop
Nope, no tickets. It was maddening.

The first thing I thought, genuinely, as I tried the first mouthful of the sticky bun was “Lisa is going to bloody love this”. And you will. You’ll eat the whole thing, and want to ask for more.

We do take a trip to the pool! That’s a future instalment though #spoiler

I’m still laughing at “hand platters” now. Can’t cope.

Well done trying for tickets for so long, I’d have lasted about 5 minutes
Garden Grill breakfast looks delicious especially that bun.

The rocks by Tomorrowland in MK have always been there but they used to be a browny colour. They painted them blue/silver at the end of August/start of 2016 (it was just before our Sept 2016 visit, my memory for dates isn’t normally that good!)
Thank you. Life is threatening to calm down a bit, which probably means there’s something around the corner I don’t know about yet...

Thanks re the rocks! It had me so confused even though we’ve been twice since they were painted blue. Just goes to show you truly do notice something new each time, no matter how well you think you know the parks.

A fab first day in spite of the difficulties you seemed to have a great time.

Oh and hand platters...They should definitely be a thing.
Repeated rides on Figment? I think I’d rather spend the morning on Ticketmaster 😹🙈🙀

Hand platters. Honestly still laughing about that. I don’t know what goes on in his brain sometimes.

So glad you pulled the day back by switching from EPCOT to MK, last Aug we had issues with EPCOT that we’ve never had before, rides going tech was a big issue.
Goodness I bet Little Mix tickets were hard to get. I don’t understand why, it’s not like stadiums are small, exactly.

Don’t think we’ve ever seen anything other than Test Track down in Epcot before so to gave pretty much everything fail during our first EMH was pretty frustrating and unlucky.
