Yes I know. My husband wasn't aware that this sometimes happens and I think the amount was that much he thought it was too good to be true, even though it was the airline staff that were making the offer. I was saying come on I've heard about this happening on the DIBB. It was only a small flight and most of the passengers were Chinese so I think they were really struggling for volunteers.

We couldn't do this due to DH's business, he has to be there and depending on time of year has employees to pay. If he is not there then they are not also. I would have a problem too if anyone at my work was off (I work a Monday), but well done you. If I were you I'd be over the moon too
