Character Meals
Hi
just trying, for this evening, to think about something other than Coronavirus! I’m a nurse with a night off! We have booked to go to Orlando in September 2021, we will be taking our grandson Teddy who is 7weeks old now. It’s years since we a character meal and just wondered if anyone rates Chef Mickeys or Tuskegee House for breakfast? Any other character meals that you’ve enjoyed with a toddler would be very much appreciated, Thankyou Stay safe everyone xx |

We have used Chef Mickeys some years ago. The characters were very good although the place is very busy. Our favourite, which we have used twice with grandchildren, is Animal Kingdom, the food is good and the characters are great. If you book for the first slot you can also get into park when it's quiet

We really like Crystal Palace and Garden Grill for character meals. Chef Mickeys is a must really for first timers with children but it’s a wall of noise.

I have been to Chef Mickeys for breakfast and Tusker House for lunch. CM is busier and nosier but character meals usually are, we enjoyed it for seeing all five traditional characters. I think the food was more interesting at TH and I like the safari outfits. Tbh I’d happily go to either again.

Garden Grill has great characters who you will probably see twice, it's quieter than CM, CP or Tusker and as its family style no trips to the buffet

For us Chef Mickey’s was a hectic free for all once the characters came out everyone and their kids were jostling to get an autograph and photo With them despite the characters visiting every table. We much preferred the one at Cape May Cafe quieter and the characters were not rushed so the kids each got a good 5 minutes each with each character. Unless your kids want to see a specific one like Mary Poppins Over at 1900 Park Fare I would say book any locations either early or late since everyone seems to want the same time slots. Of course with the latest situation that might be a moot point since they may reduce the number of guests who can book tables going forward.. There are a lot of places to research although not all may re-open initially and time will tell if some are still available next year but 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
