Garden furniture for patio

Morning all. We had a new patio built at the back end of last year in an area of garden that had previously not really been useable. After we took some trees down we discovered that this area gets sun from first thing in the morning right the way through the day- it’s glorious and a real sun trap.
The patio looks great, we plan on putting some climbing plants and lights on the trellis work but I really can’t decide what furniture to put on it. On one hand I’m thinking a couple of loungers and a small table between so we can soak up the sun but on the other hand a table and chairs would be nice although we don’t tend to eat outside often and we have a patio near the house that is nice up to about 4pm where we have a table now. I’m not good at this sort of stuff! Any thoughts dibbers- I’m open to any ideas.

Some nice rattan sofas and a coffee table maybe.
Or some of those nice wooden recliners with drink holders in the arms

Some of those rattan sofas sets look fab! I’m a novice when it comes to this kind of thing- are they weather proof? Obviously we’d bring in the cushions but I don’t know about the actual furniture.

We have a rattan cube table and chairs, I like the fact it all pushes together into a neat square that you can cover easily.

Ah, so a cover is the answer. Do you put them inside somewhere over winter?

Mine is still out in the decking, it’s been there all winter, it all folds up and protects the cushions, there a pain when it rains here which is all the time in the summer!

If you already have an eating area Is go for the sun lounger idea, the wooden ones are lovely.
