Disney All You Can Eat
While in Disney we often eat at different times, or want to try different places. Usually this is ok as the non eaters can sit and relax with either a drink or small appetizer while the others eat.
There are several All You Can Eat restaurants that some of us have been wanting to try over the years, but we havent been to them as one person often doesnt like whats available, for example a vegetarian and there isnt anything they really like on the menu to warrant the cost of the buffet. Is it possible for a family to visit a Disney All You Can eat, but one member of the party not eat and importantly not get charged?

Not really. Can the person who doesn’t want to eat not go and do something else while the rest of the group is eating? Although buffets are not currently available I would assume that the family style dining would have similar rules in that you could, in theory, share your food.

No you cannot do that, everybody that enters a Disney buffet restaurant will pay no matter how much or little they eat.

If you enter a Disney buffet, you're charged whether you eat or not. A lot of these restaurants are moving to family style serving although if it's fixed menu, I think it's same as the buffet - you're charged for how many people in the party, not how many eat. But if they also offer a la carte options (like Liberty Tree Tavern for example) then you won't get charged for the family meal if you don't order it.
Specifically for the veggies, there's usually a vegetarian option that's not listed on the main menu. Especially for the family style dining fixed menus. And historically, the Disney chefs have been extremely accomodating with custom orders. |

If its a Disney buffet then there's usually lots of choice. If you put an allergy warning on the booking the chef usually comes over to you to talk through what's best. They normally walk you through what's safe and often offer to make you something.
2 veggies in our family and find buffet's great. If its family style they bring us a veggie skillet and a non veggie skillet. Xx |
