Pre-order hotel themed Magic Bands

Staying at Wilderness Lodge next year and I see that if you pre order the hotel themed magic band it’s $25.00 instead of $39.99. Anyone managed to do this from UK? Not sure if it has to be ordered at same time as reservation or just pre-arrival.

You can do it from the UK but you have to do it whilst using a VPN. Keep an eye on what is available as options are awful at the moment but hopefully by the time you go next year you will have more choice. I’m pretty sure you have to pick everyone’s at the same time too.

We did it for our trip this May using a VPN and we had no issues. They were waiting for us when we checked in. I’m hoping to choose some for our trip next year as I’m the only one who has one and the current selection is pants but I know it took me checking regularly before I got decent ones for my last trip so it’s just a case of checking when you can and you do need to choose them all at once which is annoying as you’ll sometimes find a perfect one for one person but nothing good for anyone else!

Can I ask how far in advance of your trip you ordered your bands.
Was payment taken from your credit card at the time of ordering

The current pre-check in selection is dismal (I just checked a couple of days ago for my upcomning trip and only had a choice of 5 MagicBands!). Probably due to the somewhat imminent arrival of MagicBand+?

Usually you can add MagicBands to your hotel reservation between when you make the reservation, and until a certain time before arrival (approx a month if I'm not wrong - the cut-off date will be on MDE)

we did a few months ago, there was a decent selection then and quite a few at $15 too. I used a vpn and already had a payment type in MDE which was crucial.

The bands are already linked into my MDE for each person so it should be a cinch to go pick them up at reception next month.

You can order any time up to I think its 2 weeks before you travel. The availability changes all the time so if you see one you like its best to go for it when its there. Yes payment is taken at the time of ordering and is in $

There was a cast evening last night and they got to try out the new mb+ with the bounty hunters game. There is also a play app update today mentioning the bounty hunter game as well.
