Need a PCR when we go home which firm ?

Yikes need to order 2 PCR tests for when we get home next week we have the lateral flow tests to do here 2 days before we fly home …but can you recommend any company’s to order them from please panicking a bit now with Xmas post ( never thought about it before ) thanks

I used Randox, ordered while we were away and they were sent by DPD (daughter at home to take delivery)- I have found them super efficient and not expected such a quick turn around, put the test in the drop box yesterday lunchtime, an email came through last evening to say they have received it and about an hour ago had my negative result email. So results within 24hrs of dropping it off, cant say fairer than that especially including a Sunday

Where are you flying into? We're flying into Heathrow and have booked the Eurofins drive through near the airport. It was cheaper than others and advertised a pretty quick turnaround time. We haven't been yet though so can't comment on the experience.

It works really well. In and out in about 5 mins, we got the negative result within 12 hours emailed to us.

Used Eurofin when we came back from NYC on the 6th of Dec. Circa £35.00 and all sorted within 12 hours of having the test booked.

Points to note:

Bloody awful to find, basically opposite the Premier Inn but VERY poorly signposted - its an old Purple Parking patch of wasteland and looks very shonky!

We booked a 9am slot but landede very early and drove there at 7:15am, we were done straightaway so don't wait, just get in and out.

You need to download the "TrustOne" app. Worth doing before you turn up to speed things up.

Looks rough and ready but they were quick to do the processing and we got a negative result which is all we wanted!

We ordered Randox tests. We collected them last time but had them delivered the time before. They were very quick sending them out. We use them each time we travel now.

You can also book a test for the airport, or a local airport drive through. Where are you flying into and do you have a car?

We're doing the Halo saliva test on arrival at the Heathrow sofitel. Hopefully by the time we hang about Heathrow for 4 hours, then take our flight to Glasgow, the results won't be too far behind, meaning we can resume normal life. They are £59 each and the BA discount doesn't apply to this test, unfortunately.
