One Day Park Ticket

Hiya,

Is it best to buy a 1 day Disney ticket in advance or on the gate? if in advance, where is the best place to buy these from please?

Thanks in advance!

Definitely in advance, as you need a park reservation to get in and leaving it until at the gate risks it being fully booked.

You can buy direct from Disney, although you'll need a VPN to access the US site. Otherwise look at reputable third party sellers like Undercover Tourist.

I booked a one day ticket for Disney last week, on my phone using a VPN. Was cheaper than any third party seller. We don't go till August but would rather have it booked now.

Download a VPN app, I recommend TunnelBear as they have a small amount of data free per month. Set it to the US in the country option and press connect.

Then when you visit the website or use the MDE app, Disney thinks you are in the US and should show you their pricing instead of UK tickets.

Make sure to go back into the VPN app and disconnect once you're done so you don't use up all the data.

Thanks so much for this…I’ve just tried, and to purchase tickets is greyed out…so when I tried something else, it just redirects me to the U.K. site.

Any other ideas please?

What happens if you try to access the US tickets URL directly?

disneyworld.disney.go/admission/tickets/

If this is still redirecting to UK, it sounds like the VPN hasn't connected to the US so double check the country setting.
