Happy to help, but can you be a little more specific? I live on Jersey so should be able to answer any questions you have.

Depends what you want to do. There are some lovely looking beach side hotels for a beach holiday or if you are after a cheap sightseeing break I can recommend the Premier Inn in St Helier and buying a bus pass. The bus network was great and we toured the whole island with a week long family bus ticket which was great value.
We visited loads of castles, the war tunnels, winery, beach time, water park.

We went when the airshow was on, its a great airshow and they get so many participants that you don't get in the UK.
Stayed in St Helier and walked to the seafront for the show.
Also visited the zoo, war tunnels, and did a boat trip out to Les Ecrehous, small islands near France

Thanks for replies, it’s more to give my mum (84) a break as she would love to revisit, so would be a nice hotel with a bit of sightseeing while she is napping in the afternoon. Not worried too much on it being hot. I’ve never been busy she and my sister have a few times. Any advice welcome, hopefully I might be able to price up for her/us. Obviously also dependent on insurance too!

The War Tunnels (HO8) are good, especially a new sections they opened up a few years ago (basically unfinished sections that really depict what it would have been like during construction)

We have many more tunnels, sadly you can’t get in to these, well, not legally anyway. There are loads of leftovers from the occupation that would keep your hubby busy.

Firstly, decide which parish you want to stay in, it may be that St Helier is best being the main town and quite central in a way.
