Food is ok but it gets so busy in there service can be slow, like most of the restarants/bars in the Westgate for me if was a case of trying them for the experience but there are other places in Oxford that are more reasonably priced and have better cocktails and food.
We chose the alchemist as a treat for my daughter as it was about half way between where we both live. We arrived about 7pm and had no problem getting a table but when we left (I think it was about 915) it was heaving. I guessed being a sunny Friday night probably had some influence.

Been to the one in Liverpool and Birmingham. My favourite drink was the butterbeer. Also enjoyed the negroni.

Slow bar service, average cocktails, average food and over priced.
