DLP Annual Pass

I've been thinking for a long time now that I'd like to save up and treat my fiancee and I to DLP Annual Passes, thinking either the MagicFlex or MagicPlus pass - but can't decide which one.

I've been doing lots of research on them, and worked out the price of an the gate tickets, we'd need to go for 3 days to pay it off, which defiantly seems worth it. However I have read lots of people have been having issues with paying from the UK over the phone.

I wouldn't look to get the passes until say next year, so I'm thinking of just saving it up in cash and paying for the passes in full when we are they. Is it true there is a ticket booth before entering the park (a Donald desk apparently) where you can pay for the pass, without having to pay for a 1 day ticket then buy inside the park?

Been looking at going in Feb next year - with flights, bus transfers to/from airport and hotel stay. I've got it down to £238 per person for 4 days, 3 nights. Which I thought was pretty good.

Any thoughts or advice is welcomed

There is a desk that is sometimes open in peak times where you can get an annual pass. It is to the right as you head towards the main park entrance near the luggage storage. If it's not open you can pay the full price of the AP at the ticket booth and then you have to exchange the ticket they give you at the annual pass office inside the park. I would recommend buying a temporary annual pass or day ticket in advance so you save the queue at the ticket booth.

You can buy an AP at desk 12 at the entrance to the studios

We decided on Magic Plus for EMT, less blackout days & better discounts x

They have changed recently though. Magic Plus has no EMT now, and no free use of the luggage storage room at the parks.

We were thinking of Plus till they changed it. Will stick to Flex now.

Magic Plus still has EMT for the time being.

Is this the same rule if staying onsite? My hubby has a pass & is coming with us in Aug so hoping he can use EMH
He has Flex

Currently staying onsite overrides blackout days & gives you EMT regardless of the type of pass you hold so you should be fine in August Both these perks are unofficial for the lower passes though & can be withdrawn at any time x

On the DLP website it still shows as having EMT, just not the guest storage:

They removed guest storage and wheelchair/stroller rental from Magic Plus. EMT is still there for now, but I suspect it may be next to go.
