Going rate for DCL 4-nighter in early August?

Still contemplating what to do after our 10 nights Beach Club, 3 nights Contemporary coming up in a few months time.

Original plan was to rent a house down on the Gulf Coast somewhere.

However, I've been finding myself looking at DCL repeatedly over the past few weeks and I'm getting more and more "wanna cruise again" urges, as it's been a few years since our last one!

I can't remember what we paid before, and there is limited relevance anyway with natural price inflation since we last set sail, but I'm curious how inflated, or otherwise, prices are if I book now for this August.

For an early August 4-night Bahama cruise for 2 adults and 2 kids in a family stateroom with verandah, it's looking like £4,500 - £4,900 depending on deck etc.

Is this a lot? Would it have been much cheaper. Is there any chance price will go down as sailing approaches if inventory remains?

Thanks!

So this site can tell you the prices changes over time - touringplans/disney-crui...s/fare-tracker

Prices don't tend to go down this close to sail as I think its past the final payment point.

I would look at 2 ocean view or inside staterooms as opposed to one family veranda room, it may work out cheaper and give you double the space.

The nearer you get to a cruise with DCL, the dearer it will generally be. Very rarely do they reduce the costs I’m afraid, only for Florida residents and military after paid in full date.
