Summer 2020- first timer and need advice!
We would like to go to Disney summer 2020 (I am a teacher so stuck with school holidays!) I have been looking at the forums but really need some advice. Happy to book everything ourselves. Kids are 6 and 9. Do we book flights first? Will the dining plan tickets still be available as we have to wait for flights to be available...so many questions! Help!

Firstly, have a great time.
A general rule of thumb on the dibb is accommodation first then flights. Disney332

I would book the accommodation as soon as you can if you want the free dining, the flights for August will be out 11 months before and the earlier you book those usually the cheaper they are.
The last 2 weeks are much quieter than the first 2 as the Americans have gone back to school, As for dining plan, the quick service is good because you don't have to book ( apart from be our guest breakfast ) and there's no tips to pay (18% ) but for the full Disney experience it's nice to have the table meals especially for the character ones. You'll have a great time |

Thank you. My only worry is if I book the accommodation and can't find flights to match the dates or more expensive on certain days. Am hoping to fly from Manchester but could go from any.

We have always found Disney are quite happy to move reservations around if needed and your only paying the deposit now total due in June 2020,
We have booked Saturday 15th August as we’re in the same boat |
