Anyone been to Bulgaria?

I cant help with the area you chose, but my mum lives in Bulgaria so I go annually with my daughter (now 10). Always felt safe, people friendly and everything is so cheap, like crazy cheap! Weather is usually perfect. Have fun!

Most people will have either been to Sofia or Sunny Beach.

Sunny Beach is the busy tourist area where you will have lots going on both during the day and night. Where you are I believe is more relaxed.

It is cheap and you will find more of the restaurants there do cater for the tourists and do more than the traditional Bulgarian menus.

You should have a good time, enjoy.
