Ok thanks for tuning in everyone here’s arrival day so far.
We started with a very pleasant trip to the Escape Plus lounge where we enjoyed a relaxing pre flight breakfast. Boarded on time in ( for once ) a remarkably well organized priority order. Pleasant helpful crew served pre departure drinks and we pushed back 5 mins early. Our only competitors for immigration - the Norwegian flight from LGW was helpfully running 30 mins late at this point. After a Bacardi or two it was time for lunch. |

My research was right! The food out of Manchester is different to Gatwick.
We didn't have anything like the choice you had. During the flight I got bored and at the bottom of the menu it details the flight numbers on which that food is served, Manchester flights aren't on there. Different caterers I suspect.

After a mid flight I’ve cream lolly
Afternoon tea/hot nibbles were offered a couple of hours away from landing Chicken & bacon butters and Thai chicken skewers DW went for cheese & chuney and a cream scone Nice food, very pleasant flight with friendly and capable crew. Rocked up to empty immigration hall, through in five, luggage in ten mins and across to Hertz. Picks of the car to follow and we’re off to the Hard Rock |
