Mobile All the Star Wars Films/ advise me what order to watch them in!

So to try and work up to some meaningful interaction with Galaxy’s Edge next summer me and DH have decided to watch/re-watch all the Star Wars films. I saw the first three in real time when they were released and have taken the kids to see a few others over the years but probably slept through large portions of them! Can any fans advise us the best order to watch them in please to help the story overall make the most sense. Many thanks 🙂

Episode I – A Phantom Menace
Episode II – Attack of the Clones
Episode III – Revenge of the Sith
Episode IV – A New Hope
Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back
Episode VI – The Return of the Jedi
Episode VII – The Force Awakens
Episode VIII – The Last Jedi

I started watching with the original A New Hope back in 1978 followed by Empire and Jedi. I was only 9 when the first film was released, then came the prequels starting 1999 to 2005 disliked these, hated the CGI. The last two movies in my opinion have felt close to the originals... enjoy.

DS says 456, 123, 789, the order in which they came out so that you have the same Star Wars experience as everyone else

Thanks. I was 8 when the first one came out and watched the first three as they came out too. After that I’m lost though! I now have my entertainment laid out for a few months 👍🙂

Would go with this order and then watch rogue one and solo.

Order 1 - 9, with rouge and solo after them both

Or you could go the machete order, which skips Ep 1

nomachetejuggling/20...is-work-better

Episode I – A Phantom Menace (if you must )
Episode II – Attack of the Clones (fast forwarding teenage Anakhin)
Episode III – Revenge of the Sith (as above)
Solo (it doesn't link so much but this is the correct timeline)
Rogue One (because the end connects to the start of IV)
Episode IV – A New Hope
Episode V – The Empire Strikes Back
Episode VI – The Return of the Jedi
Episode VII – The Force Awakens
Episode VIII – The Last Jedi

I think this is the actual timeline

I think they should be seen in the order they were released, if you start with
Episode I – A Phantom Menace
Episode II – Attack of the Clones
Episode III – Revenge of the Sith
