Has anyone booked on the US RCI website?

Just wondered if anyone has booked directly on the .com Royal Caribbean website? It's for a cruise over a year away and the price is better then the UK one, even with the shocking exchange rate!

Plus I believe I can get any reductions taken off if our cruise reduces in price?

Only draw back is the deposit is $900 rather than the £300 on the UK site?

Thanks

Not direct with RC but have you tried Vacations to Go?

Thank you both. I did look at vacations to go? I often use their website to find cruises to fit in with dates I need? I just wasn't sure about booking with them? Good to hear you have!

The price shown on their website, does it include the fees & taxes?

They will email you a full price quote on request. I haven’t booked with them but they were very prompt in replying on the two occasions I priced with them. No hassle from them when I didn’t proceed.
My cruise is with Princess & there are additional charges for that specific cruise line if you haven’t booked via VTG before, that’s why I didn’t go ahead. Don’t think RCI attract that charge.

I have booked with Vacations to go, but found it quite hit and miss with regards to price, I called up got a price from one person (Franklin White) and was told that the price on the website was only for group bookings, got the price and it was ok but didn't like the advisor.

I phoned up 4 days later and spoke to a lady by the name of Amy Turboff and she quoted me the price on the website but explained that whilst it was a Balcony it was guaranteed Balcony, I booked with her and have no complaints.
