What do we do - Which PArks/Tickets?
Hi all
First time in May 2020, daughter is 12 and definitely want to see star wars and harry potter. None of us like really scary high/fast roller coasters, but we do like other rides. We are going for 14 days, we also want to visit the beach, some days shopping so buying 14 days for both parks seems a waste. someone said I would be better buying 14 days for Disney (due to the type of rides we like) then just visit Universal a 2/3 days for Harry Potter and a couple of other attractions? Any advice is greatly appreciated |

You can usually get an offer on UK Disney tickets where you get 14 days for the price of 7 so this would give you ultimate flexibility to visit the different parks throughout your holiday. For Universal/IoA I agree that a couple of days should do it, especially if you aren’t looking for the big thrill rides. I’d recommend getting the park-park ticket for Universal so that you can ride the Hogwarts Express between it and IoA (do it both directions as the ride is different).

We bought 14 day tickets for both Universal and Disney this time as we really wanted to spend a bit of time at both. On previous trips we have gone for one or the other.
The 14 days Disney and 2/3 days at Universal is probably what we will do in the future, but unfortunately 2/3 day tickets are not proportional to the 14 day tickets and are still really expensive. As such we wouldn't buy any more tickets as well, there is actually plenty to keep you busy with just Disney and Universal for a first trip. |

Hi
Am I better off buying the Disney ones direct from Disney? 14 day unlimited is currently £449.00pp is that about average? And Universal they only seem to offer 14 days 3/2 park tickets for £302.00pp? Edited at 10:35 AM. |

Are you planning to stay onsite at Disney? If so, then it would probably be worth buying your Disney tickets and hotel together in order to get free dining. My Disney ticket for 2020 was £429, purchased directly with Disney, the child ticket is usually slightly cheaper.
If you are not staying onsite, you could look into getting combined Universal / Disney tickets, there are a number of agents tagged at the top of the page that you could try. I have only ever found the 2/3 day Universal tickets on the US websites, such as undercovertourist.com |

Argh!
Okay thank you. No, were not staying onsite, we have booked a Villa. It was all looking okay with villa price and flights, I didn't realise the park tickets were so expensive! My daughter is 12 so have to buy her an adult ticket, were looking at roughly £2200 for both parks for 14 days, doesn't seem to be much difference in price with the 7 day tickets. Better save up some more! IS now about the right time to buy tickets for May 2020? |

If you are looking to save a bit maybe just do universal, SeaWorld, Busch gardens? Especially if you are wanting beach days etc too. My kids definitely prefer universal.

A few options below to look at.
The Disney 14 Day Ultimate from orlandoattractiontickets.co.uk £424 using the code mse5, total for 3 £1272. Link below. orlandoattractiontickets...ltimate-Ticket The Universal 2-Park 2 Day Hopper Ticket from orlandoattractions.com £212.51, total for 3 £637.53. Link below. orlandoattractions/t...o-park-tickets Total for both £1909.53. Or the following The Disney 14 day Ultimate £1272 Universal 2-Park 3 Day Hopper Ticket £682.56 [both from the same sites as above] Total for both £1954.56 With the above you can ride the Hogwarts Express at Universal and park hop. If you don't want to ride the Hogwarts Express or park hop then you could do the following. Disney 14 Day Ultimate from the same site as above £1272 Universal 2-Day Base Ticket from undercovertourist $697.71, roughly £547.90 for 3 Total for both £1819.90. Or the following The Disney 14 Day Ultimate £1272 Universal 3-Day Base Ticket $763.68, roughly £599.71 for 3 Total for both £1871.71 I think all the above prices are correct but double check them [rushing as I have to get to my Granddaughters's school sports]
