Universal passholder appreciation days & Uni hotels

Hi everyone, can anyone please tell me if the passholder appreciation days is also for the seasonal passholders? Are we entitled to early entry into the parks? Is it both or just 1 park?
We usually get a universal hotel room for 1 night (to get the early entry and express passes) but I havent been able to get a good price this year (travelling 2nd-16th August). Even the annual passholders rate I cant get any cheaper than $309 plus tax. The cheapest I can find from anywhere else is £275.
Can anyone help either with appreciation days advice or with a cheaper price for a Universal hotel?

Yes the pass holder appreciation days are for seasonal pass holders as well, last August the early entry was the same as the hotels entry and it was Universal only I think it was only on certain dates though which were put on the universal website.
The seasonal pass also got 10% off universal restaurants including some on city walk and also 15% off the freestyle cup and $1 off refill, we found this only applied at certain places though.
