Question Last minute disney tickets and fastpasses?

So after much deliberation we have decided to include disney in our plans but just the 2 day ticket. We plan on visiting MK and AK in our 3rd week after our 14 day UNI expires.
According to busy day guide our best days are the 18th and 21st july to visit those parks making the 30 days tomorrow...
So problem now is if we buy tonight and the fastpass window opens tomorrow can we link it in time?
We have MDE and magic bands from previous trip, any help greatly appreciated.

If you have a reference number to link it I don't see why not., but I could be wrong. Maybe someone can confirm or correct me if I am wrong.

So we have booked tickets tonight and have an 8 digit booking number is that what we need to link to our magic bands?
It says we will receive a confirmation email in 72 hours I am really hoping that is not the case or we will miss our FP opening.
It also says we will need to collect our tickets from a ticket window, is that the case if you have it linked to your magic band?
Sorry for all the questions but first time doing Disney not staying onsite.

Did you book through Disney, if so you I think you will need a reference number that they send with the email. When you have done this I am almost sure that you can link the ticket to your Magicband instead of going to a will call window, but I could be wrong.

Hi we booked our tickets at 6pm and the email with the ticket reference number came through at 6am the next day. There was a barcode next to the number and I linked this on MDE. We also had MB and did not need to do anything else 🙂 I hope the email comes through as quickly for you 🙂

I booked on Friday morning - the 2nd email came through 20 hours later around 6am.

On that email, you will have a Disney booking code which will have all the tickets assigned to it. - you need to go to the below site -

disneyworld.disney.go/en_GB/claim/resort/

Enter the code and surname - then follow the steps assigning the ticket to a name in your MDE. -

Then you can also link a magic band if needed to allow entry to the park.

(then collect your actual plastic tickets from the will call stands maybe when leaving the park or during the day at guest services.)

Enjoy
