Into Miami with Virgin, hotel overnight recommendations?

We always drive a bit out of Miami, and spend the night at Deerfield beach, it’s about an hour away, has a lovely beach, lots of nice restaurants and adds a little something extra to the holiday. I really miss the ocean when we’re in Florida so this makes up for it! Thanks I'll have a look at this hotel too. We've paid £750 for adults and £529 for kids. I know to some people this is still quite expensive and if we'd waited for the sale maybe we would have got better, but we needed to book for 14 people and had specific dates we preferred and amazingly Miami came up at a price we were happy with. We've only been quoted £1000k + so far previously for kids and adults, so this is good!

Did you book direct with the airline? Or an agent? We’re always happy flying into Miami if the price is right!

Another vote for the Cambria Suites. We stayed there last year after an internal flight from Vegas. The room was nice and clean with a separate seating/sofa area and kitchenette. The staff were really lovely there and the parking was free. Short,easy drive from the airport - would use again for an overnight stay

Last year we stayed at the Springhill Suites Miami Doral before heading to the Gulf Coast. Was so glad we stopped overnight as Dollar didn't have the car we had booked in stock!

Large clean rooms, free parking, walking distance to Wendys

We stay at the Sheraton hotel which is opposite the car rental at the airport. Lovely hotel, easy to use their free shuttle after a long flight and collect the car the following morning. We book a club room and get non alcoholic drinks, evening hot snacks and a buffet breakfast included.

Yes through Virgin Holidays Groups team. They gave some fab discounts but the Miami flights we'd seen online had come down in price, so we then rang the groups team.
