meeting friends on last day, any ides?
Hi all,
So we are heading to orlando next year and have just found out our best friends are coming on the 14th May, we leave on the 15th May at 19:55 with Virgin. We have said we would like to all spend time together so are going to do dinner on the 14th (they may be tired after their flight but hey) So far here is my idea for our last day (their first full day) Wake up and check out. check in at Disney Springs, get rid of bags but keep flight clothes in hand luggage. spend day with friends at typhoon lagoon as it opens at 10am and closes by 5pm, we can pretty much get a full day here. so... 1) does this sound like a good idea 2) any better ideas? 3) am I right in thinking if we do Disney check in we can arrive at MCO a bit later and make more of our last day? im thinking leave Typhoon lagoon at 16:30 for our 19:55 flight. Any thoughts?

Will they be up early on their first day due to jet lag which means a 10am start is a bit late for them. Just a thought otherwise sounds great and fab you can meet them 😀
When we drop bags at Disney Springs we do usually go to the airport a little later but not much in case immigration is awful!

I think it's a good idea. Your friends will be up early but they could go for breakfast somewhere and be at Typhoon Lagoon as it opens.
It will be nice for you to shower and change after water park fun. We did this and the children slept well on the flight home because they were so tired. How exciting! Sure you will have a good time whatever you do. X |
