Virgin 2020

Hi,

I’ve just seen that virgin holidays have loaded their Disney properties on to their site for May 2020.

I know they can work out more expensive than diy, and we tend to always do diy holidays so that’s not an issue to us.
What I was wondering is, if we were to book with them just now and there is a free dining offer for next year, do they change the booking to include it? Does anyone have experience of this?

I know I could probabaly change it for a fee right enough.

I asked the same question of VH for our trip next August,they told me you can’t add the dining plan to a existing booking

Yes, I was told the same. I seem to remember some people managed to negotiate a pre-booking to include dining when released for 2019 earlier this year but not sure on the details, sorry!

I might take a trip into their store near me and see what they say.

We booked in the November before I knew about the Dibb or free dining. In the April when free DDP was released we cancelled original booking and rebooked with new deposit. Because new holiday was more expensive ( we swapped from CB to AKL for £400 extra) they transferred old deposit and didn't charge a fee. If we'd stayed with original hotel there was a £240 admin fee.

If use VH in store at Debenhams Warrington. We've just done something similar for Vegas next April. Online wouldn't help but in-store wasn't a problem.
