I did ask the Purser and his answer was no they don't carry dark rum on any Virgin flights. He suggested a quarter bottle was purchased in duty free and when the plane has taken off hunt out the Purser and ask can they take charge of the bottle and serve him from it. Then return it at the end of the flight.
He said he would do that but some of his colleagues wouldn't.

Apologies for a thread hijack but it is slightly relevant - does anyone know if VA are serving the Aviation Gin on the MCO flights? DH keen to try it (I may as well too!)

The usual Bombay Sapphire on our way out here 19/11. No minature bottles though so crew pouring from big bottles - generous measures!

They were offering 2 choices of Gin in UC just over a week ago. Bombay and Aviation.

I thought I would try the Aviation one as I had seen it advertised.

Very difficult to describe it but here goes. Smelt awful and didn't taste much better. Sorry.
