1 Nights car hire & Valet Parking Vs Airport transfer in Miami

Hi Folks, trying to figure out whether its worth getting a hire car straight at the airport in Miami, or get a transfer to hotel and get the car next day? Seems most of the hotels in Miami are Valet parking. Looking at the hotel which we may be staying at the car hire places look quite close / across the road. Anyone had any experience here ? thanks in advance for all suggestions. Edit. Just to add we are having 1 or 2 days in Miami then going down the keys. Tia.

We always stay at the Hilton which is a 5 min drive and it's not valet parking, think you pay $15 for parking but they have their own car park in front of the hotel that we never struggled for space in. We always pick a car up from the airport so we can just get up and go in the morning m

An uber there and back (to pick up the car the next morning) may be less than valet plus tip. Some airport hotels have free shuttles though.

Has the hotel got an airport shuttle? When we went last time we got the airport shuttle for free from the airport to the hotel, had a well needed chill/sleep, got the 1st airport shuttle back after breakfast and leisurely went to pick up the car. Found it much more relaxing.
