Yes I have rented one loads of times. We get them when there are six of us, as it’s cheaper than a big SUV and with 6 full size cases and bags, we like the space.
I just go with cheapest. Alamo Brits, Virgin Holidays, usrentacar etc.
One tip, they are in short supply so book soon. Also, every single time I’ve got to the airport they try to get me into something else, because they are in short supply and they can get much higher rates for them from short notice bookers. I’ve even had them offer me two huge SUVs in exchange.

It may not be as bad at Tampa as Orlando, but they always start by asking ‘ How many of you are there?’ I now always say 10, and no one else can drive, right pain it is, and they leave you alone.

Don’t know if you have been to Tampa airport but it’s probably the best airport I’ve been to anywhere.

Thanks YorkshireT.
