May 2020 - taking an infant?

Just a bit of advice...

Myself and hubby have always been huge WDW fans and we have just had our little girl this sept. We are potentially thinking of a trip with the in laws in May 2020 ...

1. Are we crazy for thinking about this post Star Wars land opening due to high crowds etc
2. Are we also crazy for taking an infant under 2. She will be 4 months shy of 2 so that we won't have to pay child price for her.

Was thinking of waiting until April to wait for a free dining plan.

Have browsed around and they seem verrrrry expensive at the moment so also unsure of when is the best time to book.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated!

We love going in May, its generally a great time of year to go.

As for the little one. We have been when our youngest was 9 months old and again when he was a similar age to what yours will be, at just under 2.

Have to say, we found it to be no issue. Obviously we prepared ourselves for potentially having to cut the days short. A good cover on the pushchair helped him get some shade and have naps. Frequent trips in and out of shops for a nice AC blast helps the kids and us haha. It's also really nice to see them enjoy the place in different stages of life as they get older.

Also, congratulations on having your little one.

It’s under 3 for free access to Disney. Over 2 and your required to book them a seat on the plane tho!

We’ve done it and it’s fine, great memories!
