Universal - Photo Package
Good evening guys...
I’m currently planning mine and my sons Orlando holiday for next year (Only 248 days to go! ). I have looked at a few threads regarding the Universal photo package but I was just wondered if anyone had used it recently? And how you have found the photos have turned out? Was it worth doing? As it’s only me and my son I’m thinking it maybe be nice to have. I was thinking of getting the one day pass but I don’t think it would take long for Tom to get sick of having his photo taken 🤣. Thanks in advance x |

Proud to wear my Ears

We used it in September and it was terrible!
Was not worth the money! We ended up with only 12 photos as coming off the rides we could never find our picture. The attendants couldn't find them either! The only photos we ended up with were one ride photo from MIB and the few taken by photographers dotted around the parks. We definitely wouldn't buy it again! |

We used this in aug, having bought it on a special offer price of $60 for 5 consecutive days.
We didn't have a huge amount of photos, but in practice we only did it 2 days as due to tiredness, we didn't go to universal as many times as we originally intended. We had no trouble with ride photos, and so we had photos on lots of them, and photos at the front on each park. I think at full price you might be disappointed, but for the discount, we were happy to have some ride photos, and to have a couple of photos with all of us in. They printed 2 prints, and a poster in park for us as part of the package, as well as having the images emailed to us for our own use. |

We bought ours on offer too and while it was worth it as in we paid the equivalent of buying 2-3 photos in the park, the quality was terrible i.e. People not looking at camera etc. Also I had a list of their locations and more often than not there was no photographer there. Glad I bought it at the time for the green screen pics with ET and Spider-Man as we wouldn't have been able to get them with our own cameras but wouldn't buy it again.

Thank you all... I think I will hold off and see if they do a offer again (I missed the Black Friday one) and if they don’t I’ll leave it and buy a few there if I like them.
We have memory maker for Disney. It’s a shame selfie sticks aren’t allowed lol. |

Getting Excited

Just thought I'd add, many of the characters didn't have photographers when we went in October. Also the pics were much lower resolution than the Disney Memory Maker ones. I'm glad we had a poster printed at the park, as the resolution isn't high enough to print larger than a regular photo. Having said that, we're happy we bought it during a promo as we got lots of great photos from the Super Star Breakfast.
