He’s probably lying but I need to just do it and get it over with ..
*gulp*
Give me a coaster any day!
I've been on ToT countless times and enjoy everything except the moment at the top when you're waiting for it to drop. The actual up and down is almost pleasant once you're over the fear. Only went on Detonator once and never again, felt much more intense

Hi, I don't do the outside drop rides and I didn't do this for years (looked after the bags) but then I decided to give it a go. I was literally shaking and wishing I could get off. Now it is my favourite ride and could go on multiple times quite happily. Give it a go the fear is worse than the ride.

Took me many visits over the years before I braved it... however its now one of my all time favourites!
Cannot do drop rides like Dr Doom at universal but this one is totally different... such a laugh too.
Give it a go once, you'll never know if you don't try

If it makes you feel better, the ride doesn’t actually “drop”, there is a mechanism that pulls the ride down and pushes it back up. It is a really great ride!

It is one of the rides I dread but only because it is so well staged, it’s the wait at the top more than anything.
Ride it you only live once 😉

I did it once, thought how bad can it be. Hated every second of it!

I’m so glad you said this! I’ve always been too chicken for TOT and since that one ride on Detonator back in 2012 it’s been a firm NO. I felt like my stomach was going to come out my mouth, and I can handle the biggest, scariest rollercoasters!

Going to have to give it a go this year I think. Although I know I’m going to be absolutely bricking it

The theming on this ride makes it one of my favourites. It's fantastic. The drops are not that bad. Just a few seconds of 'weightlessness' but it just adds to the fun.

LOL. It actually pulls you down so you are going faster than free-fall.
