When I went on the drops certainly ended

8yo niece was a bit unnerved by the theming but thought the drop part itself was hilarious. Everyone is different though, you'd have to gauge it based on how they react to other rides. It's not especially intense as drop tower rides go, but it's certainly no junior ride. Objectively though, if it's suitable for you, it's an excellent ride, very well designed.

Technically you’re safer though cause you’re not free falling, or that’s what I told myself!

After avoiding it many times DS dragged me on it last time and it wasn’t quite as bad as I thought it would be. But I did snuggle up under his arm for the entire ride with my eyes closed!

I love it but once in a trip is probably my limit, where as my dh and the kids would go on it loads! They all hate drop rides, none of them will go on Detonator at TP but will happily go to ToT. The dropping is ok, it's the waiting at the top before the first drop that I find worse than anything else, I screamed and laughed out loud through the whole thing!

I love it. My favourite ride and will happily ride alone. DS hates it and point blank refuses to go on it ever again, DD will ride it at a push but would rather not. I still get the nervous anticipation before the drop but its all part of the fun x

The theming is great. The drops are not too bad. I hated the outdoor one in universal but I enjoyed TOT and went on it quite a few times when the q was short.

Me and my then 7 year old won't be repeating it.
