Guys - swim shorts in parks?

Question for the guys (and girls potentially!): do you wear swim shorts around the non-water Disney parks i.e. as intended, just the shorts, flip-flops and a t-shirt?

Thinking ahead for August and it would be nice to just walk around in swim shorts and feel the breeze, if you know what I mean!

I don't mean 'swim style' shorts with undies underneath as that defeats the point.

Is it allowed/appropriate?

DH's shorts are just black Zoggs that are actually swim shorts - not that anyone would notice really.

You see some right sights around the parks and unless someone was wearing something inappropriately short or tight I don't think anyone would notice.

I'd happily wear them if they had decent pockets.

As long as they're not budgie smugglers or swim shorts that are too tight & revealing especially when you sit down and, sorry to say this, with your legs apart (urgh) you should be ok!

i wear swim shorts but they tend to be plain colours and so you can not really tell the difference to normaly shorts. As for feet i general wear a trainer with liner socks or a water shoe with a good sole.

This thread is making me laugh now 😂

Thanks for responses. I don't want to turn up to the park inappropriately dressed or feel uncomfortable about it.
