Just wanted to update the OP and let them know we’ve had no problems taking our stainless steel straws into the parks with us. We have only been to Disney parks so far. Some of the staff on bag check have opened the pouch to check what is inside but no problems at all with taking them in. Hope this helps anyone else who is planning to take some.

For those taking them in the parks, if you are staying on site how would you clean them? Would a rinse in the bathroom sink with the brush be good enough? Thanks
