They have design models on display that look really good. From slinky dog area you can see how huge it is. Looks to be coming along

I don't like Star Wars so I'll be avoiding it if I ever go after it's opened.

I think by opening the one in California a few months earlier they will have a good idea of how mad its going to get. If the Cali one gets good reviews it will only add to the anticipation. All the building work in the car park area will be done by next year and I would not be surprised if the Q for the area does not actually use some space outside of the park. If you look at Toy story this year they have been opening from 6:30 every day and closing around 10:30. I will be avoiding it as my worry is actually how this will impact other areas, for instance the exit is supposed to be via TSL (which would explain the lack of fixed street furntinure). If the rides and the area are as good as Pandora then we can expect the hype to last well into the 50th anniversary.

We originally booked a family holiday in October next year to , hopefully, coincide with the sw opening, as my sil family are Star Wars daft... and I love it myself. They haven’t been to Florida before and were very keen to do this. However I think we totally underestimated how busy the predictions are ... I know... so we are actually a bit relieved that we think we will be there too early.
I know that myself and my dh will defo go back as we do go quite a bit, and I’m also quite sure that once my sil has had her ‘once in a lifetime ‘ holiday she will take her family back again as well.

We're going next August so too early for SW land. We're big Star Wars fans but this is all part of my master plan to persuade DH that we will have to go again in 2021!

It will probably appeal to non Star Wars fans like FOP and Pandora do.

Just looking at the area from You Story Land it looks awesome.

I think the crowds add to the excitement of it all...

We are all huge fans but deliberately not going until summer 2020. I've no doubt it will still be manic, but hopefully it will be at slightly calmer...

We had planned to go early 2020 but decided on April/May next year because we thought early 2020 would be crazy. So gonna wait til 2021 - hoping the SWs hotel maybe open then too

We are next going back in 2024, 10 year wedding anniversary (long as the wife puts up with me!)

Will be avoiding Galaxy's Edge & 50th Birthday which is 2021 (I believe) & that's when Tron will be open
