Virgin upgrade with miles.
Hi. I’m looking to upgrade myself and hubbie outbound only with miles. Does anyone know what the cost is for the extra upgrade if I have enough miles?

A lot depends on if you have an upgradable ticket to start with, when you are going and if there are any upgradable seats left on your flight.

I upgraded from classic to PE, cost 22000 miles return plus £78 tax

I just upgraded to UC for 30K miles and £100! (I think they got the miles wrong but I’m not mentioning it)
Ive never had issue getting availability and have even upgraded over new year to premium when the price is £3K for flights!

Hi. I have booked virgin flights thru netflights so would I be able to upgrade using my miles still or is it only if you book with virgin direct? Thanks.

Hi. I was told you can still upgrade no matter who you have booked with assuming your ticket allows upgrades. I need to give virgin a call as want to try to upgrade but when I look at the Change Seat plan it shows the plane almost full. Just need to ring them I guess.

It can be booked through anybody. It all depends on the ticket class
