Hi was wondering when paying balance off can you make regular payments or do you need to pay all at once?

You can make regular payments but you need to call each time to do so. Online only lets you pay off full balance.

If you don't have to pay yet, why would you?

So you don’t have a big bill later. I much prefer to pay off in chunks.

Much less stressful than having to find the full amount all at once.

If you have, say, £500 now and put it aside in a savings account until you are required to pay then you are no more needing to “find the full amount at once” than chipping away as it here and there.

It also means you’ll earn some interest by holding onto the money yourself, and it also means that, heaven forbid, if something untoward happens requiring you to cancel you still have the money to hand.

This requires me to leave said £500 in my savings account and not spend it. This is not a strength of mine. There is always something that comes up which causes the £500 to disappear. For me. It’s much better to pay it off. I can see your point but I know my strengths and weaknesses and I like to pay it off.

Same for me! I would end up dipping in and spending. We much prefer to pay off bit by bit. Also, we love watching the balance come down too. Different for everyone I suppose

My credit card limit isn't high enough to pay it off in one go so I make payments every 2 months.
