Best Currency Card Please :)

Hi all

Please can you recommend me a currency card. We only want it to add on around £300-£500 to our spends once we are out there as we get paid when we are there.

I've already got our TCs and I'm trying to work out currently whether to hold out for cash or buy now!

We've always used the post office one, but it seems they've changed it this year and it sounds a nightmare with having to pay a fee to close the account, or a monthly fee on it. Their old one was so simple.

I'd like something with an app to track balances/top up. No credit cards.

Thanks!

Revolut, I used mine when we were there and the app for it is brilliant. Do a search on here, there are many threads already that should answer all your questions.

We’ve used FairFX for our last 2 trips to the US and we’re perfectly happy with it and found the app easy to use. However for this holiday we’ve ordered a Revolut card instead because their exchange rate seems to be better recently.

We've used the Fairfx card without issues but this year used the Starling card which was very good.
No fees and also better exchange rate as well.

Thanks guys I’m really annoyed with the post office because there’s was so easy before.

I’ll have a look into the ones suggested

Travelwise, its FCA regulated, for a transfer of $1000 its only 0.26p charges and it gives the actual rate , take a look at it

transferwise/gb/borderless/card
