How much better is Upper Class

We always fly PE in the bubble but next year we are using points and works out an extra £300 each to fly upper class on the way there (would still be PE on way back). I know it's a matter of opinion but would be really interested to hear from anyone who has flown both PE and economy and if you think the experience is worth it.
We had to cancel our October trip this year due to bereavement so want to make next years even more special. Will be our 15th trip and never flown Upper Class. Have flown long haul business with BA for work and loved it.
Thanks

It’s so much better! We most often fly PE which we like but we love Upper.

We’ve done BA club a couple of times but prefer virgin. If you go from Gatwick the clubhouse is fantastic, the seats are comfy and not having anyone in front of you to recline back makes a world of difference. We’ve always enjoyed the food but it has been a few years since we travelled in upper

I like the layout of the 747s particularly, with upper being in the nose as it makes it feel much less cramped than your typical rows of airplane seats.

I’ve not flown PE just economy & Upper. If someone offered me Upper for an extra £300 I’d bite their hand off. It was a brilliant experience and makes the start of the trip so much more special.

We’ve flown upper 3 times and are on our next trip (back in premium). There’s no comparison. You can stretch your legs out, non stop drink/food, very comfy seats and space around you. I’m not bothered coming home but live upper outbound.

I have not flow Virgin upper, only BA. But I’ve heard virgin is above the cut in comparison. I would snap somebody’s hand off for £300 to upgrade outbound. You only live once and should take as many chances at experiences like these 🙂 if youve flown BA club world or first, I would definitely do virgin - then come back on here and share your verdict! 😇

Worth £300 for sure for the experience but don’t build it up too much, it’s still a seat on a plane at the end of the day.

I'm going to decide today. I'm not a big drinker but thinking I wouldn't be able to partake in any champagne etc as I have to drive the other end.
Was thinking of booking first night at Disney cheap hotel so we could get Magical Express plus 60 day fast pass option. However, I can't seem to find car hire that you can pick up from Disney Car Centre and drop back at MCO which seems odd.
We currently have 15 nights booked at Bonnet Creek. Love it there.

Alamo should let you pick up and drop off at different points.

I go against the grain and would always be Upper on the return leg. It’s a real treat when you’re on a downer because the holiday is over and I get to lie down on an overnight flight and sleep, means I don’t arrive exhausted. I cannot sleep sitting or reclining so it’s a must do for me.
Some people may think that’s a waste so it’s each to their own.

We paid for PE outbound and Upper returning next May but Virgin generously offered us an upgrade for £197pp, so we snatched their hands off. I’ve never done UC outbound and really looking forward to it. We’re getting the Magical Express on arrival so no need to count the drinks either (not that I get drunk, far from it, but it’s nice to have a fizz on boarding and wine with my meal)

The feeling you get from UC is probably the same as an unlimited fastpass for all WDW theme parks for 24 hours.
