Best Premium Economy Price in September

We have booked our flights for 19th Sep to 4th Oct UC/PE using miles. Our friends coming with us but they don't have points so haven't booked yet. We never booked for this time of year before as use to going in August but thankfully school holiday trips now a thing of the past.
Wondering if anyone has experience of prices for this time in Premium Economy. Today BA are £884 and Virgin £100 more that that.
Anyone book for considerably less than this or do you think this is a good deal?
Thanks

What is your opinion of Thomas Cook PE compared to Virgin?
Thanks

We were £1000 each with BA from Glasgow, 12/09- 13/10, flight out was nearly twice the price of the return leg

We're still looking. Thomas Cook are currently £760 and Virgin almost £1000 MAN-MCO. I'd rather hold off and hope Virgin reduce their prices. I'd be happy to pay £750-£800 with Virgin.

Part of me is slightly worried they've stuck economy delight seats at the old PE prices as an excuse to make PE more expensive, but I'll take the risk for now and hope the prices reduce.

This year in June we paid £750 for PE, we going next year at the end of May, I'm checking prices daily, I'm hoping to get our PE for the same price again, all these E prices are really confusing me this time, I don't know which one to get to upgrade later for a good PE price 😃

I paid £691pp PE return, Virgin, - Heathrow-Miami - deptarted 16th oct 18 returned 31st oct
Only booked around 6-7 weeks before departure - during a sale! Prices went up more than double soon after! Travelling on a Tues/Weds does seem to be cheaper. But I guess you wont want to risk getting that close to your dates for booking?
