Accommodation Miami
Good Evening
We are driving up from Miami. As we don't land until mid evening, we are going to stay in an airport close to the airport. Can anyone provide any recommendations? And an idea of how much I should be expecting to pay? (21/7/20) We are also going to spend a couple of beach days before our return flight. Either enroute to Miami from Orlando or in Miami itself. Looking for a hotel with a nice beach to relax on. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks |

We stayed at the Hampton Garden Inn last time near the airport. I think we paid about £90 and it was a great hotel. Spotlessly clean and lovely staff.

We stayed at the Hilton on blue lagoon drive in 2016. In 2018 we stayed at the Wyndham Deerfield beach (about an hour outside of Miami)
This year we’re staying in Deerfield beach the night before flying home. We’re looking for a hotel in Miami or around the coast for 2 nights next year but struggling to book anything because of fhe extortionate resort/parking fees!

We stayed at Hampton Inn (Hilton) Airport East for couple nights in August.
Roughly just under £100 per night. Modern, clean, super close to hotel (can see the planes!), Free parking and free breakfast.

Airport- we stayed at Homewood Suites- Blue Lagoon in July this year. 2 adults, 1 teen less than £100 included brekkie and free shuttle from/to airport (we picked up the hire car next day). It was ideal! Clean, cheap and cheeful
For the coast- we love Hollywood beach/Fort Lauderdale. Cheaper than Miami and a real laid back vibe Enjoy!

For the airport, we booked a day room at the one inside the airport terminal this year, it was not nice, glad I wasn't staying overnight. We stayed in the President Hotel at South Beach this year for a night and it was lovely, room was really big and it was so close to the Beach and Ocean Drive. Next year we are in a similar situation to you, we land in the evening and driving up, we have booked the Hilton Blue Lagoon, it looks lovely, hope this helps

We are staying at Comfort Suites Miami, North the night we arrive. Ive seen it recommended on here, and it ticked the box of having 2 beds AND a sofa bed. It was about £60 IIRC, and included breakfast.
We've still got 2 nights to book at the end of our holiday and we're going to chance it with Hotwire nearer the time as prices are eye-watering! |
