Thought it would be helpful to post our experience of the hagrid ride from today, we arrived at IOA at 7.45 and were about 3 families from the front, they let us in about 8.40 and held us at Suess area.
It was very well organised and apart from the occasional person people generally walked and they were keeping it flowing well. We walked through and pretty much didn’t stop until about 20 mins before the front. We were off the ride by about 9.30, it was absolutely amazing and I’m so glad we got to experience it!

Amazing!

We are staying at the HRH for 2 nights, will it be a mad rush to get there, or is there any perk of being on site?

The only risk with doing this is if they delay opening the ride until 1pm which happened a few times last week. They don't seem to know when it will open so let people queue without knowing if it will open...

It is amazing though

I’m not too sure, we are staying on site too at royal Pacific but as the park was opening at 9am for everyone it made no real difference for us

We were really lucky this afternoon, we went past at 3.15pm and the queue time was 90 mins so we joined the queue and were shocked to get through in only 35 mins.

That’s amazing! We really wanted to go back on but thought the queues would be huge. Just so glad we managed it this trip!

Went on 22st of August wait time posted as 150 mins was on the ride in 50mins. The weather has been good last couple of days so think that has helped, absolutely amazing ride.
