New Lounge at Glasgow Airport

Has anyone tried the new Lomond Lounge at Glasgow Airport?

We fly out to Florida on Saturday and wondered if anyone had any experience of the new lounge as we are tempted to give it a try. The price tag of £40 per person puts us off slightly, especially if its no better than the Upper Deck Lounge.

I think it's that new it won't have much use as yet, local daily paper only carried out a review at the end of August

Oooh where is that? Only lounge I knew of was the BA one but then I only use the airport for Flybe and its at the gate

It's the old Frankie and Benny's. It's just where you used to to wait for domestic passengers up stairs (before the new security opened a few years ago). Just to the right and up another flight of stairs.

It seems to have an a la carte menu but sounds pricey. I can't get in with my priority pass so I'll just stick to The upper deck.

Edited to add: Also a fair distance to any domestic gate and further to international, so you would have to leave the lounge pretty early to get to gate in time.

Would agree with what you say in the Edit, it's a fair distance for international departures.
