kel your not selfish at all its dec and everyone been busy busy busy!

i ended up at hosp yest again with jacob he stopped breathing and went blue,then had noise bleed. so had take him up and stay over night. came home at 1 today, there giving his notes to his specialist monday.

o no after such a good week too, today iv had mc ds sweets, fizzy drinks. i have defo put weight on lol

im goin gym monday DEFO if i have to drag myself there!

hope everyone is having good weekend, sounds like it with your posts

Aww thanks for the welcome guys. Can't wait for Christmas, but equally cant wait until I get back, as that will mean its the New Year, and I'm getting married this year! lol. See you all real soon and good luck!

Morning girls
Just grabbed a quick 5 mins to check out the thread and come and say Hi as Alex has took his parents out for a full English breakfast. Youll gather I didnt go, how good am I? Truth is I'm feeling squiffy after the party last night, too much rich food and too much drink and tooday I'm feeling bloated and all puffed up plus my tummy is killing me. I was really good all day yesterday as I knew I was eating/drinking last night so only had a shake, 2 nanas and 3 slices of ham during the day before a buffet tea with loads of carbs and drinking so calorie wise it cant be so bad but digestion wise my stomach is like what are you doing to me?!

Anyway today my inlaws are staying for a bit then going around mid day then tomorrow I'm going to Birmingham for a meeting and Christmas party with work and its an early start - 7am and will be a late finish so my aim of today is after my inlaws have gone is to exercise, excercise, excercise then to have a bath and do my beauty stuff - eyebrows, nails and creams and then try and decide what I have left in my wardrobe that I can fit into for tomorrow Also very low carb/cals today to try and take down some of this bloating for tomorrow.

Hi Rach - Goodness me, you are having a time of it with the little 'uns aren't you? ! How are they today? Any better? That must have been horrific seeing Jacob go blue and start bleeding, I cant imagine what panic you felt then! Thank goodness he's ok. Heres sending a bucket load of pixie dust you way that everyone else well soon and it stops once and for all.
Good luck with the gym Monday and the hair - Tues is it? No one will blame you for breaking the diet, now thats a real reason not to be concentrating on being healthy as for a start youve lived off far too much hospital food this last couple of weeks, more than anyone should! x

Hi Nat, well done on your low cals and trying to do the best thing poss during the festive season. Its not easy to resist at this time of year thats for sure - look at me Its something about Christmas that is like a free allowance to eat bad food and feel fine doing it, and we cant diet all year round, I'm just concerned about fitting into my crimbo outfits but after that I'm letting go til the New Year.
I am going to excerise though... which brinks me on to you Miss NJ... where is your exercise regime? I see a lack of info on it missy... and I know you must have those strictly DVDs by now and I know you have plenty of others if not... come on Nat, shake that booty and lose those pounds.

Dont worry about wishing time away Nat, think of it as looking to the future and exciting times - I always think its better to look forward in life rather than back and sometimes that involves wishing your time away a little bit! I'm sure though if we ever become parents I'll be desperatly not wanting time to go so fast!

Anyway better go - looks like they are back, good luck this week girls, I'll keep my eye on ya all. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi all
Well I'm back from Isle of Wight and nackered! Got back, had to take Matt to straight to his Xmas party where he is now and completed drunken no doubt. Then had to make soup for the week, and then had to go an overflowing basket of ironing, then finish writing Christmas cards, so now enjoying the last 30 mins of X Factor
So I wasn't too bad today but I wasn't perfect. I resisted all snacks, choc and biscuits on the way, had turkey at the restaurant, then had cheesecake for pudding. Not so good but points-wise, if I counted, I don't think I'll have gone tooooo far over. I just had some cereal so I don't wake up at stupid o'clock starving. Hoping to lose at least 1.5lb tomorrow. Not perfect, by far, but it's a loss not a gain and that's all I'm really hoping for. Yes, I would have loved to have lost all I gained by Christmas, and I always aim high, but with so much temptation around atm I think for anyone here to lose these few weeks is wonderful!
All I have at home is healthy so yes, a couple of meals out, but I can make better choices, which I know I can do!

Exercise...hmmmm... I know, I'm rubbish! I've been doing my walking but not been in my best of health since I got back from DLP. I've had terrible headaches since I bashed my head last week, before that I had my ear & throat infection. Excuses, excuses I know. BUT come Monday 3rd January, I am devising a plan AND sticking with it. That's food and exercise. I NEEEEEEEEED to lose this weight to get my dress.
I am very happy with the way I look right now, but that won't last forever. 14s won't be good enough any more, it'll need to be 12s so it'll take some work. I WILL wear a bikini in Florida 2012, I WILL!
So no, exercise is not my focus in these next couple of weeks (or just under), but as soon as Xmas is over, you have my full permission to throttle me if I don't post exercise on here at least 3 if not 4 times per week. I'm going to make a routine and totally stick to it, and you know I will, and I know you'll kill me if I don't! You know where I live Kel, and I'm scared you'll end up on my doorstep! Eeek!
The DVDs are definitely giving me something to look forward to though. And if I get a payrise in the new year (requested!) I'll have a look at wedding finances and potentially join the gym to stop by there on the nights I walk home maybe. It seriously depends on £££ though as I am putting as much as possible into the wedding fund. I've got no choice! Lots of discipline from me from new year huh! That's because I'll be getting married the next year! Gosh!

On that note, we have been talking a lot about the wedding recently which is nice, including my mum. I think now it'll be next year and booked etc, she's more willing to discuss it. Today my nan was trying to talk me out of Disney Cruise and into Royal Caribbean because it's cheaper, and mum said to her just to leave me alone, I am doing Disney bcause I love Disney, it's my wedding and I should be allowed to do what I want. I think timing is a massive thing for them so hopefully their support will come. My nan has also wiped the rest of my debt to her (she loaned me some money a couple of years ago) and after another £75, we'll be debt free to her as she wants us to put that money towards the wedding instead so that's nice too

Anyways, I'm tired so going to finish X Factor and then off to beddybyes to watch Piers Morgan

Speak tomorrow with some losses (I hope!)

Morning ladies
So after expecting to STS after the week I had... lost 2 3/4 lbs!
Last week was 13st11.5lbs (gain 9lbs)
This morning was 13st8 3/4lbs (rounding up to 13st 9lbs) (gain 6.5lbs)
How happy am I?
You have no idea how much 1 loss can spur someone on! I never thought I'd be able to lose my extra blubber in time for Christmas but I can and will!
I have 12 sleeps to lose 6.5lbs and no, I won't lose it all but I can have a pretty good crack. I'll be happy at 13st4lbs (i.e. need to lose 5lbs) to start Christmas off!
So it's healthy all the way for me! Whoop! So excited! Can you tell?

How did the rest of you do? x

Hi girls,
Well done Nat! Thats awesome.
I lost 4.5lbs this week and despite fri night and sat night i blooming deserve it as i worked my backside off low carbing and dieting! I did two hours exercise yesterday too. Worse thing is i weighed in fri before i went out and lost 6.5lbs to that point so the weekend did have an impact but still im pleased.
Just on way to xmas party in birmingham at mo but stuck in traffic and will eat and drink later but then will be back to diet tomorrow.
